About the Brand+

Ilana Scheinker launched her line of handmade natural wood teething and nursing necklaces in June 2015 after she had her son and couldn't find a safe and all natural teething necklace. She uses wooden beads that are completely raw, untreated, unstained, and made without the use of dyes, resins or oils. Using raw wood beads threaded with organic cotton eliminates any concern about chemicals and synthetics (such as latex, BPA, PVC or Phthalates) going into your babe's mouth. The wooden beads are naturally antibacterial and because of the wood's porous nature, bacteria has a harder time penetrating and surviving.
